Despite the addition of Hailee Steinfeld to the Barden Bellas, Elizabeth Banks's deeply disappointing Pitch Perfect 2 is a fatally unfocused and overlong sequel that lacks the easy charm, humour, and ear-catching tunes of its much more accomplished and entertaining predecessor.
