"Maestà: The Passion of Christ is the first long feature of the French artist Andy Guérif. It consists of a film adaptation of 'The Passion of Christ', a 14th century polyptych of 26 panels painted by Sienese master Duccio di Buoninsegna. The whole cycle of the Passion of Christ is re-interpretated in split-screen by actors, in a setting that reproduces the primitive lack of perspective.
